The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is organizing a seminar where Dr. Ali Cheema is invited to share some early findings from his recent collaborative research on women’s political participation in the 2018 General Elections.
Dr. Ali Cheema is an Associate Professor of Economics at LUMS and Senior Research Fellow at IDEAS. He is also the co-lead academic of the IGC Pakistan program and a founding member of CERP. His current research focuses on dynastic politics, women’s political and economic empowerment, political parties and citizen engagement and local governance.
