Ahsan Zia Farooqui

Ahsan Zia Farooqui holds an M.Sc. in Economics and has more than 7 years of experience working with governments and non-governmental organizations on multi-scaled short- and long-term impact evaluations aimed at increasing trust and cooperation between the public and Government, improving the efficiency of governmental operations and community-based development.

In addition, he has extensive field experience in several districts in Punjab and has worked on large-scale field studies including governance, crime and policing, procurement transparency, vocational skills development, and poverty alleviation. Working on these projects, Ahsan has conducted rigorous quantitative analysis, and data synthesis, developed evaluation materials, and trained large teams of enumerators. He was also a co-PI on a multi-country study aimed at increasing citizen trust through innovative reforms in policing.
