Zahra Siddique is currently a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in economics at the University of Reading, UK. Before joining the University of Reading, she worked at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn, Germany and continues to be affiliated with the Institute as a Research Fellow. She is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan. She earned her PhD in economics at Northwestern University in 2008; earlier, she received an MA from Northwestern University and BSc. Honors from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Zahra’s research interests are in micro-econometrics, labor economics and development economics. Her research has been published in the Journal of the American Statistical Association, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Research in Labor Economics and Labour Economics.
