Research Associate

Wardah Mirza is a dedicated professional who has been involved in social research for the past four years, and has now joined the Governance cluster at IDEAS, and is currently working for the ‘Women’s Voting’ project in the capacity of a Research Associate. With a graduate degree in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, she has had the unique opportunity to work for various research projects in multiple development sectors in the country: education, health, skills development and human rights and, has engaged with not only people working at the grass root level but also renowned academics and thought leaders in the field.

Wardah’s professional choices - past, present and future - have always been guided by a simple ethos: To contribute towards substantially changing Pakistan into an equitable and prosperous country through participating in research initiatives, influencing policy and supporting interventions geared towards aiding the country in achieving its development goals.
